For the Girls Opera is grateful to live, create, and share music in Edmonton, Alberta, and respectfully acknowledges that we operate on Treaty 6 territory, amiskwacîwâskahikan, the traditional lands of the First Nations and the homeland of the Métis. We recognize the histories, languages, and cultures of the diverse Indigenous Peoples whose presence continues to enrich our community, including the Plains Cree, Woods Cree, Nakota Sioux, Saulteaux, and Dene, and Métis peoples.
